Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant to provide wide-ranging clinical support on the patient care unit. You will assist with equipment planning, support nursing procedures and patient care under RN supervision, reporting to the Unit Director.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and BLS within 90 days of hire, with 20 hours per week and an evening/night schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or comparable work experience may be accepted as a valid substitute for formal educational credentials.
• Experience in health care environment preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provides a wide array of clinical support services on the patient care unit.
• In collaboration with the Unit Director and Staff Development Instructor and under the supervision of the Staff Registered Nurses, plans and reviews equipment and supply needs, assists the nursing staff with specific technical procedures and assists with patient care.
• Reports to Unit Director.
