Centralus Health System and its affiliates are seeking a Clinical Assistant for the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Ithaca region. This 40-hour-per-week position offers a Monday–Friday Day/Evening schedule and a sign-on bonus up to $2,500. Pay ranges disclosed: $18.73–$25.23 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care under RN supervision, maintaining equipment and supplies, and reporting to the Unit Director. BLS required within 90 days of hire; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in health care environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides a wide array of clinical support services on the patient care unit.
• In collaboration with the Unit Director and Staff Development Instructor and under the supervision of the Staff Registered Nurses, the Clinical Assistant plans and reviews equipment and supply needs, assists the nursing staff with specific technical procedures and assists with patient care.
• Reports to Unit Director.
