Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Communications required.
• 3–5 years television news anchoring experience in a competitive market.
• Strong ability to handle unscripted live breaking news.
• Demonstrated enterprise reporting and anchor capabilities.
• Active in public engagement and digital/social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Anchor and lead weekday evening newscasts with authority and editorial judgment.
• Steer live breaking news coverage without a script.
• Develop and host digital-first, streaming news content.
• Enterprise and report impactful stories for evening broadcasts and web.
• Engage with the community at station events and public appearances.
• Maintain a professional digital and social presence to grow audience reach.
• Collaborate with producers and reporters to elevate newsroom quality.
