Job summary

Jovie is seeking a part-time nanny in Seattle to help a family with three young children (ages 1–5) after school. The role focuses on safe, proactive supervision, activity planning, and keeping the afternoon routine flowing smoothly until parents return home for dinner.

You’ll manage transitions, provide snacks, supervise bath time, and engage the children in play, with occasional bottle-feeding and light cleaning tasks as time permits.

Qualifications

• Prior childcare experience with young children.
• Capable of caring for three children aged 1–5 simultaneously.
• Calmly manage toddler tantrums and sibling disagreements.
• Energetic and able to keep up with active, mobile kids.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Safe driver with a clean driving record.
• COVID vaccinated and up to date on immunizations.
• Already established in the Seattle area.
• Glowing references from recent nanny positions.

Responsibilities

• Pick up all three children from school and bring them home safely.
• Offer a snack and help transition to the evening routine.
• Oversee bath time and engage in play until parents arrive home.
• Occasionally assist with bottle-feeding the youngest if a parent runs late.
• Provide active supervision and keep children safe, engaged, and on schedule.
• Unload the dishwasher and load lunch boxes into the dishwasher when time allows.
