Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking a maintenance-focused individual to support cleaning of tooling and ongoing plant maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Candidates should be able to work Monday through Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with potential overtime and independent work, and must be able to lift heavy objects as part of physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of machine operability and mechanical assemblies.
• Overtime availability and ability to work independently.
• Team player with self-starting attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean tools to include molds and dies using various methods.
• Identify and correct facility and equipment related failures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Assist with installation and training on new equipment.
• Perform equipment moves as required and support validation (IQ, OQ, IOQ, PQ).
• Read electrical wiring diagrams, pneumatic drawings, mechanical drawings and related facility information.
• Support vendors as needed and contribute to LEAN initiatives.
• Perform duties under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor and participate in ongoing training.
