Responsibilities

• Prepares, packages, labels, and sends out specimens per procedures.
• Receives specimens and centrifuges blood and urine as needed.
• Centrifuge and aliquot specimens for analysis.
• Performs waived and moderately complex testing per CLIA guidelines.
• Provide support to technologists and maintain instruments.
• Receives, logs, and transports specimens between units; completes documentation.
• Follows universal precautions and safety policies; participates in safety trainings.
• Completes mandatory competencies and training modules.
