Job summary

Super Steel in Mequon, WI, is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. You will assemble metal components per specifications, ensuring high quality while following safety protocols.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and working with welding equipment. It offers a second-shift schedule (2:30pm-11:00pm) with a $3/hour shift premium and OT opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in metal assembly or fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in metalwork.
• Strong attention to detail and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Assemble metal parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.
• Document assembly process and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on tasks.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
