Job summary

Centurion Health in Waymart, PA is seeking a Part-Time Evening/Night Mental Health Worker/Technician to support inmates with daily living skills and treatment planning.

The role involves supervising offenders, assisting in group therapy sessions, and documenting notable changes in offender functioning. Evening shifts available; background check required and security clearance where applicable. Experience in mental health or corrections preferred; training may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Must have a current driver's license.
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician, EMT, or activities technician preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, drug/alcohol rehabilitation or intellectual disability services preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine supervision of offenders and informal education in routine activities and daily living.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implement interventions as assigned.
• Document and inform appropriate staff of significant changes in offenders functioning.

We are currently seeking a PT Evening / Night Mental Health Worker/Technician to join our team at State Correctional Institution-Waymart located in Waymart, Pennsylvania.

$17 - $18.50/hour based on experience

The Mental Health Worker will provide routine supervision of offenders and provide informal education in routine activities and daily living. Other responsibilities will include participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings and implement interventions as assigned, document and inform appropriate staff of significant changes in offenders functioning, and assist facilitating group therapeutic sessions.
