Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Mental Health Counselor for a full-time Evening shift in an inpatient setting serving Children, Adolescent and Young Adult units. Under Nursing Director supervision, you will help develop and document treatment plans and implement therapeutic interventions grounded in TaraVista's mission.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe milieu, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and using Medsphere/Vista EHR for documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mental health or related field.
• Strong communication and boundary skills.
• Experience with psychiatric assessment and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu per center protocol.
• Contribute to individualized treatment plans with goals and interventions.
• Document progress and interventions accurately for each patient.
