Job summary

Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring a PRN or full-time evening Medication Technician for assisted living (2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.) with rotating weekends/holidays. Salary ranges from $14.75 to $18.31 per hour, with credit for experience and additional pay like shift differential and holiday pay.

Role includes assisting residents with medications under supervision, supporting daily living activities, monitoring health status, and ensuring adherence to state medication guidelines.

Qualifications

• Required: 18 years of age or older.
• Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under supervision.
• Support activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to clinical staff.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental well‑being.
• Follow community policies, procedures, and state medication management requirements.
