Job summary

Odessa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist to support evening shifts (1:00 PM–9:30 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation. You will perform manual and automated blood tests and operate core laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited MT program.
• National exam passed with ASCP Board of Registry.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and automated routine blood tests.
• Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Demonstrates creativity and latitude in approach to work.
• Typically reports to supervisor or manager.
