Health First is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to perform diagnostic tests in the medical laboratory. The role covers clinical chemistry, toxicology, transfusion services, urinalysis, hematology, microbiology, and point of care testing as needed.

Florida licensure is required and the candidate should be able to work during a shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The MLT will ensure test validity and accuracy, perform quality control, and assist with instrument calibration and maintenance,

Formación

• AAS in Medical Lab Science or related field per CLIA.
• Experience not required; Florida licensure required.
• Proficient with common computer applications and EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Performs clinical laboratory testing across departments as assigned.
• Ensures accuracy and validity of test results and adheres to policies.
• Maintains and calibrates lab equipment and performs quality control.
