Job summary

Med One Group in San Jose, CA seeks a dependable Medical Equipment Delivery Driver for the Thursday–Monday evening shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM). This full-time, hourly role delivers, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains medical equipment for hospitals and facilities across the region.

The candidate will work independently, be active, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; tech school or college coursework preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1–2 years of delivery driving experience.
• Previous box truck driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong computer skills and basic technology proficiency.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with local roadways and service areas.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Flexibility for overtime and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete deliveries and pickups and finish all required documentation on time.
• Deliver, install, and retrieve medical equipment at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with setup and troubleshooting.
• Represent Med One professionally to enhance customer satisfaction and reputation.
• Receive, inspect, and prepare medical equipment for inventory and deliveries.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, packing, loading, and unloading equipment.
• Perform light maintenance and cosmetic repairs on equipment.
