Rocky Mountain Laboratories is seeking a reliable 1099 courier for emergency coverage in Las Vegas to transport medical specimens and related materials to internal and external clients. Shifts occur as needed, typically 3:30 p.m. to midnight, requiring flexibility and prompt communication with dispatch.

The role provides a company vehicle for shift use, and includes paid training. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, smartphone access, and the ability to work on short notice are

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work on short notice for emergency coverage.
• Comfort using routing software and smartphones.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical specimens and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and inspection of the company vehicle.
• Adhere to safety regulations while transporting specimens.
• Communicate with dispatch, clients and team for pickups/deliveries.
• Handle specimens with care, proper labeling and packaging.
• Provide excellent customer service during pickups/deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed with proper lifting procedures.
• Maintain records of pickups and deliveries using company systems.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot daily operational issues.
