Job summary

San Joaquin Valley College Inc. seeks a qualified faculty member to deliver Medical Assisting instruction in evening classes at our Boise campus. The role emphasizes adherence to curriculum, timely grading, and student support.

The candidate will bring a Medical Assisting Certificate, applicable credentials, and at least two years of field experience, contributing to program assessment and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Medical Assisting Certificate of Achievement.
• RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA or CMAC required for WA, preferred for all other states.
• BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• Two years field experience in medical assisting is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver course material in accordance with the curriculum.
• Maintain attendance and assess student learning outcomes.
• Post grades in a timely manner and communicate with students.
• Engage in program improvement through assessment and department activities.
• Ensure adherence to standards and participate in councils and advisory boards.
