Job summary

The role requires a Medical Assisting Certificate of Achievement, BLS for the Healthcare Provider, and relevant certifications; 2+ years of field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical Assisting Certificate of Achievement is required.
• BLS for the Healthcare Provider is required.
• RMA, CMA, CCMA, NCMA or CMAC are preferred certifications.
• At least 2 years of field experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lessons and course materials in line with curriculum.
• Delivers instruction using varied teaching methods.
• Maintains a positive, inclusive classroom environment for student success.
• Provides academic advising, tutoring, and office hours.
• Participates in program improvement, assessment, and accreditation tasks.
• Collaborates with colleagues to support student retention and outcomes.
