Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Materials Handler to support production by maintaining warehouse accuracy and delivering parts promptly. The role requires focus on safety, the ability to handle high volumes of requests, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a diverse team.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm with overtime as needed. Pay starts at $21.00–$23.00/hour, with a $2.00/hour premium for evening shift; forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Computer classes or production experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort and process complete orders.
• Issue parts to the lines and operate a forklift to move and deliver parts to the line.
• Operate power hand tools, scanners, computers, and other equipment.
• Assist with warehouse inventory maintenance and loading/unloading trucks.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or defective material issues.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Communicate in English to carry out essential functions.
• Read and understand assembly instructions on a screen to retrieve parts from a pick list.
• Cross-train in multiple functions across departments.
• Work effectively with others and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
