Job summary

Bell Flavors & Fragrances in Northbrook, IL seeks a Material Handler to support our Manufacturing team. You will move raw materials, ensure inventory accuracy, and supply materials for compounding and production activities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. The role involves retrieving materials, transferring between warehouse and production using ERP and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety information.
• Ability to use computers and warehouse management systems.
• Must follow SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve raw materials from the warehouse and deliver to the production area.
• Transfer materials between warehouse and production using ERP systems and handheld scanners.
• Return materials to warehouse locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow FEFO inventory practices and support cycle counting.
• Replenish materials and assist with batch processing and QC submissions.
• Pull samples for raw materials and finished goods evaluations.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and scanners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and food safety requirements.
