Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH seeks a Maintenance Technician for the Evening shift to operate boilers and repair HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and related systems. You will perform rounds, routine maintenance, log records, and handle hazardous chemicals in a 100+ degree environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, technical training in mechanical/electrical fields, and a valid Ohio driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and/or plumbing.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds and equipment checks.
• Repair HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems.
• Perform daily chemical analyses on closed loops, cooling towers, boilers and related equipment.
• Maintain books and records for regulatory agencies.
• Handle hazardous chemicals in environments over 100 degrees.
• Respond to adverse operating conditions.
