UFP Industries is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and tools, supporting the Maintenance Department in various repairs.

The role involves performing scheduled maintenance, assisting in repairs of woodworking equipment and forklifts, and maintaining accurate records while following safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Commitment to safe equipment practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular, preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building.
• Assist in repair of woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts per manuals and specs.
• Order supplies and parts as needed.
• Keep records of maintenance and repairs.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
