Job summary
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Madison, WI for a 24/7 operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime.
The role requires reading schematics and blueprints, and safe operation of equipment, with overtime as needed to support continuous production.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Electrical maintenance apprenticeship or technical training preferred.
- Experience with three-phase electrical systems and industrial electrical components.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on three-phase power systems, motor controls, and control circuits.
- Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
- Respond to emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and engineering teams.
