Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support hotel and restaurant facilities on the 3-11 PM shift. You will install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical and plumbing systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

This role requires documenting work, coordinating with housekeeping, and executing preventive maintenance programs with a focus on safety equipment and Life Safety Systems compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures, including electrical systems and plumbing.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on Life Safety Systems and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain and repair hotel aesthetics (painting, furniture maintenance, etc.).
• Maintain a Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring quarterly inspections and proper documentation.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery, listening for unusual sounds to diagnose issues.
• Perform welding, installation of pipe systems, and repairs of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from housekeeping and guest requests.
• Perform regular checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, and other safety equipment.
• Maintain a daily maintenance log and ensure all work is documented.
