Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in California is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide individualized nursing care under the supervision of an RN. The role emphasizes data collection, documentation, and execution of the Plan Of Care in alignment with clinical guidelines.

Requirements include AHA BLS, CA LVN licensure, and IV therapy/blood withdrawal certification. Weekends are every other; shift is 3 PM–11:30 PM. Union terms apply under SEIU-CBA.

Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
• California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - CA Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians - REQUIRED
• Vocational Nurse IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal Certification - REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Performs individualized nursing care for patients under the direction of an RN.
• Communicates to educate patient/family about Plan Of Care and treatments.
• Documents data and coordinates with RN and other team members.
• Implements plan of care and consults RN when needed.
• Provides informal teaching and feedback to peers and students.
