Job summary

Qualifications
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
- Must possess knowledge of nursing practices and regulations pertaining to nursing care facilities.
- Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs necessary for quality care.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in this state.
- Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
- Background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening required.
Responsibilities
- Cooperate with other resident services to coordinate nursing care.
- Participate in facility inspections and surveys.
- Review and update discharge plans.
- Assist in planning the nursing portion of discharge plans.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Complete injury/incident reports and medical forms.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
