Job summary

York General is hiring a Hearthstone Medication Aide (MA) for the evening shift in York, Nebraska. The position supports long-term care residents, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and an evening 8-hour shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, documentation, and reporting changes in residents’ conditions to the Charge Nurse. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold Nebraska CNA and Medication Aide certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course and be certified by the Nebraska Health and Human Services System, as well as the 40-hour Medication Aide Course and certified as a Medication Aide.
• Experience in memory support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer and document prescription medications and treatments as assigned by supervisor.
• Attend to resident care needs as care planned and documented.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
