Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus is immediately hiring for a Personal Care LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse. The role involves supervising care, monitoring residents, and providing direct nursing duties during the evening shift (3pm-11pm).

GPNs eligible; requires PA LPN license and CPR. Prior long-term care experience is a plus. Pay starts at $28/hour with evening and night shift premiums; comprehensive benefits package provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current LPN licensure by the PA State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification (prior to or upon employment).
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred yet not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors nursing care by visiting residents and ensuring continuity and evaluation of care per orders.
• Maintains documentation of nursing observations in the medical record.
• Provides direct resident care and transports residents to activities and appointments as time permits.
• Performs glucometer readings, PVRs and other testing as needed.
• Communicates with residents, families, and coworkers and notifies supervisor of changes or concerns.
