Job summary

Validation Associates LLC is seeking a dedicated LPN/LVN for a contract, full-time role in Albuquerque, NM. The position is based at Bear Canyon Rehabilitation Center and offers a 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM shift with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, wound care, documentation, and collaboration with care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active NM LPN/LVN license or ability to obtain.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and care teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Prior LPN/LVN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and wound care.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-care instructions.
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as catheter care, IV maintenance, and specimen collection.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to supervising nursing staff or physicians.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment in accordance with regulatory standards.
