Job summary

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team for long-term care facilities. This is a full-time evening contract position, 13 weeks, 5x8 shifts, with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Applicants must hold a NY State LPN license and have at least 1 year of LTC nursing experience, with BLS certification. Strong clinical and communication skills, plus ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid NY State LPN license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status and report any changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and health information.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
