Merakey Allegheny Valley School in Kentucky is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 17-bed campus facility.

The role includes clinical assessments, documenting seizure activity, administering medications, and working Monday–Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM with wage differentials for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.
• One year of experience as an LPN preferred.
• Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
• A current and valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• The LPN will work on the AVS campus in a 17-bed facility and provide direct nursing care to persons with developmental and physical disabilities by completing clinical assessments, recording seizure activity as needed, and administering medications.
