Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a Sevita family member, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care under RN or physician direction in Lecanto, FL. This part-time role works 3p–11p and requires state LPN/LVN licensure and nursing experience.

Candidates should be able to monitor medications, coordinate with healthcare providers, maintain confidentiality, and train staff in medication administration and infection control. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or state certificate.
• One year experience working with population served in a nursing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care and medical treatment to individuals receiving services.
• Monitors medications and coordinates with RN/physician for care plans.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows health care policies.
• Provides training for staff on medication administration and infection control.
• May transport individuals to activities and assist with on-call duties.
• Performs other related duties as required.
