Job summary

Bellefaire JCB seeks a licensed Practical Nurse to provide holistic nursing care to clients in the Agency’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). You will establish therapeutic relationships, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and ensure professional, evidence-based care.

The LPN will work under the PRTF Nurse Manager, assisting with examinations, medications, and care plans while adapting to behavioral health and autism residential treatment needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio LPN license.
• Experience in behavioral health or with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers, nurses and health professionals with examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Obtain patient health history, vitals and specimens within scope of practice.
• Administer medications and document administration as ordered.
• Submit regular reports to the provider as requested.
• Educate clients and residential staff about medications and health needs.
• Coordinate with PRTF staff to ensure quality client care.
• Maintain proper storage and use of medical supplies and equipment.
• Perform related duties in the delivery of services within the PRTF.
