Job summary

Paris Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our evening shift team. This full-time role supports residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting, administering medications, assisting with ADLs, and collaborating with RNs and therapists to meet individualized care plans.

Eligible candidates hold a valid LPN license, BLS/CPR, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Strong clinical skills including medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status, including vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support residents’ recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
