Job summary

You will assist laundry with linens, respond to guest requests, and report maintenance issues. Be available for weekends and varied shifts; one year of cleaning experience and knowledge of chemical handling are expected; bilingual EN/ES is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas during the evening shift, ensuring established standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide regular evening support to the laundry operation, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and stocking linens and towels to help maintain adequate inventory and prepare the housekeeping department for the following day.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, including delivering towels, linens, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms.
• Report maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, and unusual activity to the appropriate supervisor. May assist with guest room cleaning or other housekeeping duties when operationally necessary.
