Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking an evening Housekeeping Attendant to clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will support laundry operations in the evenings, respond to guest requests, and participate in safety reporting to help the team prepare for the next day and ensure guest satisfaction. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; minimum one year cleaning experience preferred, with strong guest service skills expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas during the evening shift, ensuring established standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide regular evening support to the laundry operation, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and stocking linens and towels to help maintain adequate inventory and prepare the housekeeping department for the following day.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, including delivering towels, linens, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms.
• Report maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, and unusual activity to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and hotel areas. May assist with guest room cleaning or other housekeeping duties when operationally necessary.
