Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in professional live television broadcast operations.
• Proficient in operating broadcast and production equipment.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work all day parts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate and document effectively with crew and producers.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast equipment including Tricaster, Ross Overdrive, studio managing, teleprompting, audio, robotic cameras and transmission.
• Demonstrate skills in LIVE broadcast production and automation.
• Communicate and document effectively with crew, news producers and assignment team.
• Coordinate with all technical operators during newscasts and live/recorded productions.
• Work as liaison between news, engineering, and production departments.
• Test equipment daily to ensure proper operation.
