Job summary

Latin Bites Kitchen in Houston (Woodway) is seeking experienced Line Cooks for the evening shift to join a fast-paced kitchen that values consistency and presentation.

You will follow recipes, maintain a clean workstation, and work with kitchen managers and teammates to prepare high-quality dishes. Availability Monday through Saturday, afternoon and evening shifts, with weekend work required, is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Attention to food quality, cleanliness and presentation.
• Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts Monday through Saturday.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation and safety procedures
• Maintain consistent food quality, portions and presentation
• Communicate effectively with kitchen managers and team members
• Complete preparation, cleaning and closing responsibilities
• Assist in receiving and properly storing ingredients when needed
