Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands, South - 5051 S. 22nd St., Omaha, NE 68107, is seeking a part-time lifeguard to supervise the aquatic facility and ensure patron safety after school hours.

You will maintain lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid skills, provide guidance to club members, perform pool maintenance, enforce rules, and support camp staff. A High School Diploma or GED and current lifeguard certification are required; schedule is Monday through Friday 2:30pm–7:30pm with wage starting

Qualifications

• Must hold current lifeguard certification.
• Experience in lifeguard or aquatic supervision preferred.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols.
• Reliable transportation and regular attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to club members in an aquatic environment.
• Maintain Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid skills.
• Perform weekly in-service skills related to patron safety.
• Daily maintenance of the pool.
• Clean poolside restrooms daily.
• Check lifesaving equipment and record tests.
• Enforce pool rules with all patrons.
• Coordinate pool supervision with camp staff.
