Pennsylvania Counseling Services Inc. is seeking an independently licensed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our York office, focusing on evening outpatient therapy services for children and adolescents.

This 1099 contractor role offers the autonomy of private practice within a larger behavioral health network, including referrals and scheduling support. Evening availability is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or Psychologist license.
• Master’s degree or higher in a Human Services field.
• Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy.
• Interest and experience working with children and adolescents.
• Availability to provide evening appointments.
• PA State Police Criminal History Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Clearance through the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services
• Independent professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapeutic services, with a primary caseload of children and adolescents.
• Maintain availability for after-school and evening appointments.
• Complete practice management responsibilities, including scheduling ongoing sessions, returning client communications, and completing clinical documentation necessary for billable services.
• Coordinate with caregivers and other treatment providers as clinically appropriate.
• Billing and insurance verification for the clinician’s services.
