Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. (PCS) is seeking an independently licensed Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our Chambersburg office with a focus on couples, marriage, and family therapy.

This opportunity is specifically designed for a clinician interested in maintaining a part-time evening caseload, with appointments available during the hours when couples and families are often most able to participate in treatment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a Human Services field.
• Current Pennsylvania license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LSW, or Psychologist).
• Approximately two years of outpatient therapy experience preferred.
• Experience in couples, marriage, and family therapy.
• Ability to practice independently.
• Evening availability for consistent appointments.
• Background checks and clearances as required.
• Independent contractor (1099) position.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapeutic services with emphasis on couples, marriage, and family work.
• Maintain regular evening appointment availability.
• Provide individual therapy when clinically appropriate within caseload.
• Complete practice management responsibilities: scheduling, communications, and documentation for billable services.
• Coordinate care with other providers when clinically appropriate.
• Ensure clients complete prompt payment of copays and deductibles through patient portal.
