Job summary

Worthington Libraries is seeking a Custodian at Old Worthington Library to support safety, security, maintenance and cleaning of library facilities and grounds. Under direct supervision, you will perform cleaning tasks, set up rooms for meetings, move furniture, and assist with minor repairs as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of paid work experience. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required for travel between library

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of paid work experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow library policies.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and refills dispensers.
• Maintains floors, walls, windows, blinds, carpets and furniture.
• Moves furniture and equipment; prepares rooms for meetings.
• Responds to Facilities Help Desk tickets and emails.
• Travels between library locations using personal vehicle.
