Qualifications

• Degree in engineering preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate technical information to all levels.
• Proficient in Windows operating system and Microsoft Office suite.
• Must meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodation.
• Experience across multiple departments is desirable.
• Test department experience is a plus.
• Proficient in electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• CAD/Pro/E or comparable experience.
• CAN Bus troubleshooting using CANalyzer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with manufacturing, materials, and production to provide timely assistance and drive engineering issues to resolution.
• Provide on-the-spot engineering advice for design, installation, or production issues in manufacturing.
• Document and communicate changes to the chassis image ensuring correct parts usage.
• Provide feedback to local resident engineering staff and Division Engineering for design errors.
• Undertake special assignments or studies requested by supervisor or division engineering.
• Assist with product change implementations including prototypes and coordination.
• Improve installation knowledge, production quality, and dealer communication.
• Coordinate with design groups for new parts or rework of existing parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
