Job summary

Harvard Maintenance in the United States is seeking a Cleaner to join a large, family-owned provider of premier janitorial and security services. The role covers cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, and floors, with multiple shifts including full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

You will follow health and safety regulations, operate cleaning equipment, and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for basic cleaning of all areas including common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Perform additional duties as required, including flooded areas and spills.
