Job summary

PureHealth is hiring an EVS Technician to maintain a clean and orderly post-acute facility. You will follow established guidelines to perform duties ensuring patient areas and public spaces are sanitary and welcoming.

The role requires physical activity, regular walking, and adherence to HIPAA policies. Shift available: 2pm - 10:30pm with weekend/holiday coverage. Benefits include tuition and license reimbursement, free CEUs, 401k, and a recognition program.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.
• Six months’ experience in a customer service role is required.
• Demonstrates positive communication, maturity and patience.
• Proficient in English with good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient area daily room cleaning.
• Patient area discharge cleaning.
• Patient area isolation cleaning.
• Disinfection and chemical use.
• Laundry processing (patient linens).
• Laundry processing (personals).
• Rover/Public area cleaning.
• Office/Ancillary cleaning.
• Hard floor care.
• Carpet care.
• ALF weekly unit cleaning service.
• Handling of soiled and clean linen.
• Solid and bio medical waste collection, transportation and disposal.
