The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is seeking a creative, guest-focused PM Laundry Attendant to join its team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This full-time role supports guest satisfaction by ensuring clean linens and proper laundering procedures in a unionized hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of industrial equipment.
• Ability to operate commercial washing machines, polishers, and other cleaning equipment.
• Ability to extend arms, scrub, bend, stoop, and stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push and/or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, carry, push, or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Empty the laundry chute and prepare loads for the washer.
• Pre-sort and separate linen by classification and transfer by lifting, carrying, or transporting to work stations.
• Run folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc.
• Separate laundry requiring mending or special stain removal.
• Provide assistance to washer by pushing carts from washing to drying area.
• Provide general public assistance, instruction, and/or guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency.
• Other duties as assigned, such as assisting room attendants or houseperson when requested.
