Job summary

The Omni Richmond Hotel is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant for the PM shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm). This role ensures linens are washed, dried, and prepared to meet Omni's standards while supporting a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include sorting linen, operating washers and dryers, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety regulations. Excellent English communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to push/pull carts up to 250 pounds.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate in English with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment with multiple priorities.
• Must maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene.
• Basic computer skills including payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Sort dirty linen from chute and process for washing.
• Collect dirty linen from outlets and banquets.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironers and related equipment.
• Process specialty items or guest requests as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Follow OSHA safety and sanitization regulations.
• Participate in monthly linen inventories.
• Support coworkers with a cooperative work ethic.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
