Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Christiana, PA, is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. This full-time role requires a high school diploma, willingness to train, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will handle resident laundry, maintain a clean area, and support housekeeping tasks as needed.

The job offers competitive hourly wages along with health/dental insurance, PTO, and tuition reimbursement. The schedule includes every other weekend and 2pm-10pm shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare or with seniors preferred, but training is available.

• Willing to work every other weekend and maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding resident clothes and linens.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
• Handle resident personal belongings with care and confidentiality.
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning rooms and common areas.
