Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is hiring for a sample handling role. Responsibilities include accepting, storing, and disposing of samples per EPA regulations, packing and shipping via FedEx, and assisting laboratory staff.

Compensation is $18–$20 per hour with benefits. Schedule is Mon-Fri 12:00 PM–8:30 PM with potential overtime; training on first shift 9:00 AM–5:30 PM for 1–2 weeks.

• Basic technical knowledge relevant to the department.

• Must lift 25+ pounds.
• Familiarity with TALS LIMS.
• Professional English reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs in handling and disposal of samples.
• Light laboratory duties.
• Receive samples, document, store and dispose.
• Communicate discrepancies to Sample Receiving Manager.
• Pack and ship samples via FedEx.
• Prepare client bottle orders.
• Assist lab with glassware cleaning.
• Assist chemists and technicians as needed.
• Work safely per Eurofins policy and health & safety program.
• Use LIMS to track containers and shipping purposes.
• Maintain organized work with courier arrival times and hold times.
