Job summary

Talentify is seeking a lab support role with Tuesday–Thursday evening/overnight shifts (4:00 PM–4:30 AM). Pay starts at $20/hour and is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience performing automated lab testing.
• Knowledge of handling potentially infectious materials.
• Adherence to asepsis and antisepsis procedures.
• Ability to prepare bar coded specimens.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analytical automated laboratory testing.
• Follow procedures for handling potentially infectious materials.
• Follow asepsis and antisepsis procedures in duties.
• Prepare bar coded specimens for analyzers.
• Assist CLS in operation of assigned analyzer(s).
• Centrifuge and label urine and blood samples.
• Log specimens received and match tests ordered.
• Store or discard specimens for future reference.
• Set up primary bacteriological cultures.
