Job summary

Clin-Path Diagnostics, LLC is seeking a Lab Assistant - Accessioner to support daily laboratory operations in Phoenix. You will receive and accession patient specimens into LIS and assist with specimen handling, ensuring accurate data entry and timely workflow.

Responsibilities include quality control documentation, supporting pathology staff, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following CAP/CLIA/OSHA requirements. This role offers evening hours and a collaborative lab environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory, accessioning, or related healthcare support role preferred.
• Ability to accurately enter and verify information in LIS.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Accession patient specimens into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Assist Pathologist Assistants with daily duties and lab support needs.
• Perform daily quality control documentation as required.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in clean condition.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste per safety procedures.
• Communicate with pathologists and staff to support accurate workflow.
• Follow safety procedures when handling specimens, chemicals, and waste.
