Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Food Services Kitchen worker to support meal service in our hospital kitchen. You will perform dishwashing and pot washing, maintain sanitation of main kitchen and equipment, and assist in stocking supplies.

The role requires the ability to read, write and speak English, lift up to 30 pounds, push and pull up to 300 pounds, and follow instructions. Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and 16 hours per week in the 4p-8p shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Understand basic weights and measures.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs dishwashing and pot washing duties.
• Sanitation of main kitchen and all food service equipment.
• Retrieves soiled patient trays and stocks supplies.
• Assists in training of other food service workers.
